Verified Scholars provides general tutoring, learning support, and study guidance to help users improve understanding, develop proper learning skills, and approach educational tasks with greater confidence.

Services may be provided by independent contractors working with Verified Scholars (“Scholars”). Scholars are not employees, partners, or legal representatives of the Platform. We coordinate access to educational support, but each Scholar is responsible for delivering guidance within the scope agreed for the service.

2. User Responsibilities

By using Verified Scholars, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when requesting support.
  • Use our services only for lawful and educational purposes.
  • Follow the integrity rules, policies, and expectations of your institution.
  • Communicate respectfully with our team and Scholars.
  • Review all guidance carefully and make your own independent decisions.
  • Not misuse, resell, copy, or distribute content provided through the Platform without permission.

You remain responsible for how you use any tutoring, feedback, or explanations provided through the Platform.

3. Provision of Services

We offer tutoring and study guidance based on the information you provide. Services may include concept explanation, subject support, study planning, feedback, editing guidance, research advice, learning strategy support, and similar educational assistance.

We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill. However, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, result, or institutional decision. All services are provided for learning and personal educational development.

We may refuse, pause, or cancel a request if we believe it falls outside the scope of lawful educational support, breaches these Terms, or creates a risk of violating institutional policies.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, design, graphics, logos, and website structure belongs to Verified Scholars or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

You may use guidance provided to you for your personal study and educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, publish, sell, upload, share, or distribute our content without prior written permission.

Any data you provide to us remain yours. By submitting your request, you grant Verified Scholars and its Scholars permission to review and use your details only as necessary to provide the requested service.

5. Breach of Terms

We may suspend or terminate access to our services if a user:

  • Provides false or misleading information.
  • Uses the Platform for unlawful or improper purposes.
  • Harasses, threatens, or abuses Scholars or support staff.
  • Attempts to bypass payment obligations.
  • Misuses materials or violates intellectual property rights.
  • Requests services that conflict with academic integrity requirements.

Where appropriate, we may cancel active services without refund if the breach is serious or intentional.

6. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform independently.

Users under 18 may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By allowing a minor to use the Platform, the parent or guardian accepts responsibility for the minor’s use of the services.

7. Pricing

Prices may vary depending on the type of service, subject area, complexity, required support, and requested timeframe. Where possible, we provide a price quote before the service begins.

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, if any, may be added or included depending on your location and the payment method used.

8. Payment Terms

Payment must be made before services begin unless we agree otherwise in writing. We use third-party payment providers to process transactions securely.

You agree to provide accurate billing information and confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. Failed, incomplete, or disputed payments may delay, pause, or cancel service delivery.

We do not store full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers.

9. Refund Policy

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis. You may request a refund by contacting us with your order details and a clear explanation of the issue.

Refunds may be approved where:

  • A duplicate payment was made.
  • The service could not be provided due to an issue on our side.
  • The delivered support substantially differed from the agreed scope.
  • A technical or processing error prevented proper service delivery.

Refunds may be refused where the service has already been mainly provided, the user supplied incomplete or inaccurate information, the request changed after work began, or the user breached these Terms.

We may offer a partial refund, full refund, credit, or reasonable correction depending on the circumstances.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, payment processes, or business operations.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of Verified Scholars after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

We may use third-party services for payment processing, website hosting, analytics, communication, security, or customer support. These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, or services that are not controlled by us.

12. Data Sharing

Your information may be shared with Scholars, support staff, payment processors, technical service providers, analytics providers, or legal authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable laws of the province or territory where Verified Scholars operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
